Leadership & Governance
Board Structure
The AMA Global Marketing SIG is governed by a Board of Directors composed of accomplished scholars who provide strategic guidance, organize conferences, develop programs, and support the SIG’s mission. Board members typically serve three-year terms and represent diverse geographic regions, research specializations, and institutional types.
The Board meets at least twice annually during AMA conferences and communicates regularly throughout the year on SIG initiatives, programming, and strategic priorities. Specific responsibilities are distributed across the leadership transition roles (Chair, Chair-Elect, Past-Chair), a set of officers, and several liaisons.

Bylaws
The SIG’s operations, membership, and leadership are governed by formal bylaws covering the group’s focus and goals, membership, the Board of Directors and officers, sample activities, finances, and the procedure for amending the bylaws themselves. The full text is available as a PDF.
