AMA Global Marketing SIG Awards
The AMA Global Marketing SIG presents two awards at the annual AMA Global Conference, honoring individual scholars and impactful research that have advanced the field. Nominations are accepted from the scholarly community; calls open in late fall/early winter with submission deadlines in early spring. Significant Contributions to Global Marketing
Honors distinguished scholars who have made sustained, career-long contributions to the field of global marketing, recognizing lasting impact on international marketing theory, research, and practice.
Excellence in Global Marketing Research
Recognizes outstanding published research that has made a significant contribution to the advancement of global marketing knowledge, demonstrating exceptional scholarly rigor and impact.
Journal of International Marketing Awards
The Journal of International Marketing Editorial Board presents two awards recognizing published articles that have made transformative contributions to international marketing scholarship. Awards are determined through Editorial Board review of published JIM articles; authors do not submit nominations.
Hans B. Thorelli Award
Recognizes the article that has made the most significant long-term contribution to international marketing theory or practice. Re-established as a “five-year-plus” award in 2005.
S. Tamer Cavusgil Award
Established in 1998, honors the article published each calendar year that has made the most significant contribution to advancing the practice of international marketing management.
